On September 6, 2018, one year after Hurricane Irma hit the USVI, the U.S. Virgin Islands Hurricane Recovery and Resilience Task Force published its final 273-page report to help guide reconstruction and resiliency efforts in the Territory in the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. The document offers 228 recommendations on the long-term recovery to improve critical infrastructure and public services and make businesses more resilient to future storms and other natural disasters.
